On Christmas of 2017, Betty had gone to the village for a Christmas reunion in the village. One Sunday morning at a Sunday school of one of the local churches. Betty had gone to pray as well as hand over some gifts and snacks to the little and innocent girls and boys at the school.
At the school, Betty and her little daughter Michelle were stunned by the needy children who were being taught by one teacher who exhibited extreme love for children. Betty could not leave after handing over the gifts, but to wait until the Sunday school class ended that day. She wanted to have a word with the guest teacher that day. She noticed the needs of the mothers and their children.
She proposed to do this regularly to support the children and their mothers with scholastic materials and other basic needs. The love for children grew and the need to support the mothers spread to other members who admired what she was doing and a great team developed. This was between 2017 to 2021. The need and push by members to form a charity organization grew stronger and PAMMORA FOUNDATION was born in 2022.
Betty named PAMMORA after her children, PAULA, MICHEAL, MICHELLE, AND RAPHAEL. To be the faces of the FOUNDATION and to take it further. The key and goal for the organization is to support and end the suffering of disadvantaged children and youth together with their families through implementing voluntary humanitarian programs in the fields of education, health care, mentorship, skilling and income generation.
